The "cut-here" line described in AN-92:3, and used in section2-2.ps, proved to be hazardous to at least one automatic program for printing messages that contain PostScript files. Therefore, the Resource Guide has switched to a classically simple version of the "cut-here" line: ----------------------------------Cut-Here------------------------------------- The explanation is the same as before: When you receive a PostScript entry, you must remove the "Cut-Here" line and everything that precedes it in the file. Otherwise, your printer will print the PostScript file as a series of PostScript commands rather than as formatted printing. The first line of the PostScript file must be: %!PS-Adobe-1.0 This message is being sent to both the PostScript and Plain Text mailing lists for the Internet Resource Guide. Please send questions and suggestions to resource-guide@nnsc.nsf.net., and changes in mailing lists to resource-guide-request@nnsc.nsf.net. ---The NNSC Staff ******************************************************************************* NSF Network Service Center (NNSC) Hotline: 617/873-3400 10 Moulton Street Email: nnsc@nnsc.nsf.net Cambridge, MA 02138 Info-Server requests to: info-server@nnsc.nsf.net *******************************************************************************
