This is not the README file for project Libellus. To find the README file, along with the other information files for this archive, cd into the directory ./info. The approximate heirarchy, from this point on, is this: libellus aides Every learning aide is enclosed in a specific directory. This is so that every one can be composed of many files, and maybe all of them can be "chap01" etc. If we find it necessary to compress files, we'll tar these directories before compressing them (so a portable tar will appear in the utils directory, as well as whatever compression program we use, likely GNU gzip). commentaries Each commentator has a directory, wherein you will find his work. Since commentaries almost always accompany texts, the accompanying text will be found in that directory as well (often a link to something in the texts directory). See the 00index file in ./commentaries to see what texts are currently available. covers Will eventually contain PostScript or TeX approximations of the title pages of the books the texts came from. info README; various more specific README files on TeX, copyright, and Greek; the follow-up announcement, in TeX form; and a description of how Levy's Greek fonts work and how to use them. misc Things that don't really fit anywhere else. raw As the name implies, this is where things may be stored when they come raw out of the scanner. Don't expect too much out of this area, although if you have some use for the things stored here, don't hesitate to make some use of them. There is no 00index for the files here. texts Each author has a directory, wherein you will find his work. See the 00index file in ./texts to see what texts are currently available. utils Herein will you find all of the utilities that are necessary to make use of these texts, except for TeX (see info/README.tex on how to get TeX); and various other useful things (fonts and macro files).
