Last update? (14 June, 2003) - Added vers resources. - Reverted my numpad key trigger change - Made it compatible as far back as Finder 6.0/System 4.2 (System Tools 5.0) Final (8 June, 2003) - Turned global optimiser on. It runs significantly faster on *very* old machines than the previous build. Angband 2.8.3 for Classic Macintosh Why now? Since I was lucky enough to find a compiler that can do this :) angband-283-mac-old on the Angband FTP server didn't work where it was intended. This one does. Because 2.9.3 takes pretty long time to initialise itself, even after binary files are created, you might wish to stay with this version for use on compact Macs. I added a couple of features from 2.9.x, but forgot to incorporate "easy" options... If anyone is interested, I'll fix (uni)Finder crash bug in my Classic port of Angband 2.9.3 -- this was caused by too eager closing of wdRefNums. Requires * Any Macintosh computer with 2 Meg of RAM. 900K--1000K partition is good enough. * It DOES work on System 6, Finder or MultiFinder. * I don't know how far back it can go, though. * It's also System 7-compatible and multitasking friendly. * Can do colors if Color Quickdraw is available.
