Angband 3.0.4 for Various Macintosh Computers Angband 3.0.4 by Robert Ruehlmann (rr9@thangorodrim.net) This set of ports by pelpel (pelpel@zak.att.ne.jp) Files Uploaded * angband-304-mac-old.sea.hqx - Plus or greater, Finder 6.0/System 4.2 or greater, 2 Mega or more RAM. * angband-304-mac-68k.sit.bin - System 7.0 or greater, around 5 Meg of RAM or more. * angband-304-mac-ppc.sit.bin - PowerMacintosh running any version of system software prior to OS X * angband-304-mac-osx.sit.bin - PowerMacintosh running OS X (10.0.0--10.3.x) The "old" port has lua scripting turned off, while the other ports has it, but, so far as I've observed, this doesn't make any differences at all unless you're a programmer. The 68K, PPC and OS X ports have support for sound effects and all three graphics tiles compiled into, but I didn't attach 32x32 tiles to the 68K port because it isn't very practical thing to do there. On the other hand, this huge set of tiles alone require somewhere around 15 Meg of RAM, and the partition size of the PPC port is set to 20 Meg just because of that. You can safely reduce it to 4 Meg if you don't use them. System Requirements and Features summarised... (*2) If you never ever use 32x32 tiles here, you can reduce the program's partition size to somewhere around 4 Meg (4096 K Bytes). (*3) It can run on Mac OS 8.6--9.2.2 with CarbonLib system extension, but the "ppc" port works better there. // pelpel (pelpel at zak dot att dot ne dot jp)
