Replacement Airfiles for several Avro Regionaljets for Microsoft FS2000 by Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de March 24, 2001 Here are two reworked Airfiles for some Avro Regionaljets and BEe-146's which are offered for FS2000. The Airfiles based on FS98 Models but this is necessary for a correct starting of the Model when using my Version 2.0 Avro Panel Arjv2fsk.zip. Well, don't worry about this fact that they are FS98 Airfiles. They have no disadvantages to the FS2000 Airfiles. Quite the contrary they are much better. Antony Madge, who made them, gave those Files a much more realistic feeling so they fly like a BAe-146 should with all typical Flight characteristics of this Aircraft. You may find another bug loosing the electrical voltage after some minutes. This happens with the original Airfiles and also with this new ones. The reason is simple. Both Airfiles don't use the electrical system of FS2000. But here is a small tip which helps you with this Problem. To bring the Battery to work correct there's a very important thing you must change in the Aircraft.cfg of your corresponding BAe-146. Open the Aircraft.cfg with the Editor and add these two lines to it: [electrical] max_battery_voltage=0 For example: In the Eurowings 146 the complete Aircraft.cfg looks then like this one: [fltsim.0] title=Eurowings BAe-146-200 sim=Northwest BAE-146 model= panel= sound= texture= checklists= [electrical] max_battery_voltage=0 Those new lines means that your aircraft don't use the standard FS2000 electrical system. Installation: The first Zipfile "Greggory Payne 146 Airfile" is for the new FS2000 Eurowings Model by Gregory Payne (also for other Models he designed). I made some minor changes to the file to give it a better performance. The second Zipfile "Bill Alderson 146 Airfile" is for all Repaints of Bill Alderson's Model like the BA 146, United Airlines and other. Just unzip the Airfile you need into the folder of your BAe-146. Take a look how the original Airfile is named, make a Backup of it and rename the new Airfile like the old one. That's all. Please take care that you don't mistake the files or the Designer of the Original Aircraft! Credits I would like to thank Antony Madge for his great BAe-146 Airfile and his permission to upload this modified files. Feel free to send feedback or comments. I'm looking forward to your Mails to know in which part of the world this panel is used. Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de and visit my Homepage: http://home.vr-web.de/~lieberecht/start.htm
