British Aerospace BAe146 Panel Version 1.0 for Microsoft FS2000 by Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de May 01, 2001 Thank you for download this panel. After flying some times with my Avro ARJ Panel I thought it would be no problem to rework it for a BAe146. But this was a mistake. After I've collected some photos and information about the real BAe146 cockpit, I've recognized that a lot of things are different between both Cockpits. So I had to do a new one for the BAe. This Panel IS NOT a combination for FS98 and FS2000. There is a separate Version designed for FS98, so take care that you install the one you need! Like the ARJ Panel the Panel Bitmap is also completely handdrawn and has no scanned elements. The Panel itself is very complex and has a lot of Functions. Here are just listed some of them: - Full working Annunciator Panel (no dummies)! - Real Engine Startup including an APU! - GPWS with Sound! - Altitude Alert Sound! - All Warning Lights work! - Night illumination of almost all instruments! - Flight Director with a lot of functions! I'm sure the warning lights of the Annunciator Panel are not as they are in the real ARJ. Unfortunately I have no Manual of the Plane to look what Lights there are in reality. So the Annunciator gets an arrangement which is useful for flying with FS2000. Please take a look at the Manual to see for what the lights are in the Annunciator Panel. Another thing I've changed to my former ARJ Panel are the better readable digital readouts and the inscriptions of the Overhead Panel and Autopilot. When you start FS2000 with a Standard Aircraft like the Cessna or the 737 you should no longer loose electricity now. I've used a small trick to fix this but I'm not sure if it works also on your System. Instructions The BAe146 Panel is very complex. It has almost 150 Gauges which are divided on the Main- and Overhead Panel. A lot of the Instruments should be clear but for all of the special instruments and the complete Startup procedure I wrote a separate Manual which could be found in the Panel Folder. It is written in HTML Format so you don't need a special Programm to read it except your Browser. Installation: Unzip the gauges.zip to your Flightsim main Gauges directory. If you already have some of the gauges you don't need to delete them. They should be the same. Unzip the Panel.zip and replace the panel.cfg file to the panel folder of your favourite aircraft. For more reality use a BAe146. Unzip the Sound.zip into the sound directory of FS2000 (not into the sound directory of your aircraft!). You don't need to replace the sound files if you already have them. Credits: A lot of the used Gauges were reworked and repainted from other Freeware Panels. I would like to thank all of the Designers who makes it possible to create new Freeware Addons for our community. All Gauge Programmers I know are named below: The HGHB Team for a lot of the used Gauges. The FPDA Team for a lot of the used Gauges. Christian Koegler and John Hirsch for the Stall Warning. Christian Koegler for the Signs. Andreas Jaros for some of the Warning Lights. Dai Griffiths for a lot of the used Gauges. Chuck Dome for some of the used Gauges. Eric Ernst for some of the Gauges. Oscar Nava and Richard Probst for a lot of the Gauges Paul Golding for a lot of the used Gauges. David Durst for the Radio Readouts. J.L. Stubbs for the Oil Gauges. John Valley for his Fuel Flow Gauges. If you are not listed above and you have programmed a Gauge which I've used in my Panel please forgive me for this mistake. Just send me an Email and I will give you credit on my Homepage. Feel free to send feedback or comments. I'm looking forward to your Mails to know in which part of the world this panel is used.
