I WAS LODGED AT THE MARRIOT HOTEL (INCLUDED IN THE SCENERY), FROM WHERE I HAD AN ESCELLENT VIEW OF INCOMING AND OUTGOING TRAFFIC. ESTE ARCHIVO FUE CREADO A PETICION DE MIEMBROS DEL GRUPO TACA CON BASE EN GUATEMALA Y, POR COINCIDENCIA, VIAJE AHI ESTE FIN DE SEMANA PASADO Y LA EXPERIENCIA FUE MUY EMOCINANTE, PERO SOBRETODO POR QUE EL ESCENARIO DE YAS TANAKA ES EXCELENTE Y MUY BIEN DETALLADO. ESTUVE ALOJADO EN EL HOTEL MARRIOT, DESDE DONDE TENIA UNA EXCELENTE VISTA DEL TRAFICO AEREO. NOTE! ¡NOTA! NOTE! ¡NOTA! NOTE! ¡NOTA! NOTE! ¡NOTA! NOTE! YAS' SCENERY IS QUITE DETAILED, THEREFORE, IT IS TEXTURE HEAVY, SLOW PC'S (200MHZ. AND 233MHZ) MIGHT EXPERIENCE LOW FRAME RATES IF YOU ADD THE WHOLE DYNAMIC FILE. FOR THAT REASON, THE AIRPLANES ARE SET AT DIFFERNT DENSITY LEVELS, SO THAT YOU MIGHT DECREASE THE DENSITY IS THE FRAME RATES COME DOWN. SET THE "SCENERY DENSITY", NOT THE DYNAMIC SCENERY DENSITY, TO "NORMAL". EL ESCENARIO DE YAS TANAKA ESTA MUY BIEN DETALLADO (YA ESTUVE AHI Y POR ESO LO SE) POR LO QUE TAMBIEN ES UN TANTO PESADO. LAS COMPUTADORAS DE 200MHZ. Y DE 233MHZ. PUEDIERAN EXPERIMENTAR BAJO NIVEL DE CUADROS POR SEGUNDO (FRAME RATES). POR ESA RAZON, ESTE ESCENARIO DINAMICO ESTA FIJADO A DIFERENTES NIVELES DE DENSIDAD. IMPORTANT! YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR APPROACH TO THE NORTHEAST OF GUATEMALA CITY AND LEVEL THE AIRPLANE AT 8,000 FEET, TURN SOUTH WITH A 190° OR 193° HEADING. THE AIRPORT WILL APPEAR TO YOUR RIGHT. AT CERTAIN DISTANCE, THE DYNAMIC SCENERY WILL ACTIVATE ITSELF AND YOU'LL HAVE A KLM 747-400 FLYING SOME DISTANCE INFRONT OF YOU. JUST FOLLOW THAT AIRPLANE AND LAND AFTER HIM (YOU'LL HAVE ENOUGH SEPARATION). THE AIRPORT IS AT 4,960 FEET ABOVE THE SEA LEVEL. THE ILS FOR RUNWAY 01 IS 110.10 UPON YOUR APPROACH, YOU'LL FLY SOME FEW MILES CLOSE TO AN ACTIVE VOLCANO (ONE AMENITY INCLUDED BY YAS TANAKA), WHICH IS IN LINE WITH THE ILS PATH SO PROCEED WITH CARE AND DO NOT GET TOO CLOSE. I'M SURE THAT YOU'LL LIKE THIS KIND OF EXPERINECE. ¡IMPORTANTE! DEBES REALIZAR UNA APROXIMACION HACIA EL NORESTE DE LA CIUDAD DE GUATEMALA Y DAR UN VIRAJE CON RUMBO 190° O 193° HACIA EL SUR NIVELANDO EL AVION A 8,000 PIES. TANTO LA CIUDAD, COMO EL AEROPUERTO VAN A APARECER A TU DERECHA. A CIERTA DISTANCIA EL ESCENARIO DINAMICO VA A ACTIVARSE Y PODRAS VER UN 747-400 DE KLM A CIERTA DISTANCIA DE TU AVION. SIGUE EL TRAYECTO DE ESE AVION (TIENES SUFICIENTE DISTANCIA). EL AEROPUERTO ESTA A 4,900 PIES DE ALTURA. EL ILS PARA LA PISTA 01 ES 110.10. VAS A PASAR A ALGUNOS POCOS KILOMETROS DE UN VOLCAN ACTIVO (UNA AMENIDAD INCLUIDA POR YAS TANAKA). INSTALLATION/INSTALACION: Create one (1) folder and name it AGUAdyn01, then create a subfolder and name it "Scenery". Unzip aguadyn01.BGL (32 Kb) to the "Scenery" subfolder. Descomprime aguadyn01.BGL (32 Kb) al subfolder "Scenery" EXAMPLE/EJEMPLO: C:\.....\Flight Simulator\Scenery\AGUAdyn01\Scenery\aguadyn01.bgl Unzip Aguadyns.BGL (669 Kb) into the MAIN SCENERY FOLDER Descomprime Aguadyns.bgl (669 Kb) al FOLDER PRINCIPAL "SCENERY" EXAMPLE/EJEMPLO: C:\......\Flight Simulator\Scenery\Aguadyns.bgl Unzip the Textures.zip and within the MAIN FS98 TEXTURE folder, otherwise the airplanes will appear without textures. Descomprime las texturas dentro del FOLDER PRINCIPAL "TEXTURE" o de lo contrario los aviones van a aparecer sin texturas. YES! SI! YES! SI! YES! SI! DYNAMIC SCENERIES, AS WELL AS ANY OTHER NEW AIRPORT SCENERY THAT YOU INSTALL, MUST BE ACTIVATED IF YOU HAVE CREATED AN SPECIAL FOLDER AND SUBFOLDER FOR IT. THE LAYER MUST PORTRAY A NUMBER LOWER THAN THE AIRPORT SCENERY. LOS ESCENARIOS DINAMICOS DEBEN SER ACTIVADOS DE LA MISMA FORMA COMO DEBES ACTIVAR CUALQUIER NUEVO ESCENARIO QUE INSTALES. LA CAPA O "LAYER" DEBE SER DE UN NUMERO MENOR QUE EL QUE TIENE ASIGNADO EL ESCENARIO DE MEX. In order to increase Frame rates, maybe you might turn the SCENERY DENSITY to sparse or Normal (Note: Scenery Density, not Dynamic Scenery Density), yet my best recomendation is for you to take off or store some of the original *.BGL files, IF THE OVERALL SCENERY IS SPLITTED INTO SEVERAL *.BGL FILES. Please note the following; the dynamics were created with the "crash control off". This means that is you happen to be in their way, they'll just ignore your existance and run over you. I did this on purpose as I noted that that when using the crash avoidance "ON" , the dynamic airplane will stop sharply, if you happen to be at a certain distance (feet or meters) away. Once you start moving, the dynamic plane will try to catch on with its recorded path, but in doing so, I will start giving jumps like a frog and this really anoyed me, so I decided to turn off the crash avoidance. This means that the dynamics will have preference. Use the slew option to climb some feet above the airport level to see by yourself and to get acquainted with their moves, so you'll decide when is the most proper time to make your movements. _______________________________________________________________________ Special thanks to the creators and painters of each aircraft, contained within this dynamic & static scenery file.
