----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Learjet 45 Swiss Air Force VIP Repaint Third Edition- FS2K (and only FS2K) Freeware Aircraft Copyright 2001 Diego Frieden, original texture by Microsoft Corporation . Photographys (2) Copyright Swiss Air Force(if this line is too long for you to read then maybe you should make sure the word-wrapping function of the Edit menu is turned on !) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Switzerland ! Whoever you are, I (Diego Frieden, 16, lives in Switzerland, dief@netcourrier.com) start by thanking you of your interest in my repainted Learjet 45 ! Before you start reading, if you REALLY don't like notepad, open the readme.doc file now, it contains the same info as readme.txt This repaint is copyrighted and cannot be copied as the whole or partly nor modified FOR PUBLICATION without consent of the author. That means that if you want, you can write your lover's name on a modified texture bmp or give it a pinky color BUT you can't post it on the net and say that it's your work, got it? I would be very disappointed to see that the time I took to prepare this thing is washed away by a dishonest simer. For questions, critics, comments, ice-creams (find the wrong one), mail to dief@netcourrier.com ! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is already (!) the third version of my repainted Swiss AF Learjet. I noticed a little after I posted the first one surfing on the Swiss Air Force's Webpage (by the way, it's excellent: http://www.vbs.admin.ch/internet/LW/e/Index.htm) and I noticed that 1.the Swiss AF had got a Learjet 2.the livery was totally different from the one I gave my Lear45 3.I had written wrong in the checklist-Notes section that the Swiss AF owned a Falcon 900EX but they only own a Falcon 50 so.... I decided to start all over and make it a lot better and here it is ! I added two photographys (Copyright Swiss Air Force) of their Learjet 35. Compare real life and simulation and tell me what you think of the accuracy of my livery since it's the only info I had to start repainting the texture. (Remember that this is a Learjet 45 and the one shown on the pics is a Learjet 35). But I noticed after having uploaded the second version file that: 1.it was 1458 Kb big 2.it was because of the readme file 3.I included twice the same pictures so..... Here is the third version ! There will be a fourth one once I get authorization to upload it along with upgraded AIR file. Give your opinion : dief@netcourrier.com IMPORTANT: the repainted Lear45 Folder is already COMPLETE, so relax because everything as been taken care of so that you musn't erase, backup, eat, wash, or sell your default Lear45 texture. For VIP transport functions, the Swiss AF uses a Dassault Falcon 50, a Super KingAir and a Learjet 35, all based at the Payerne Air Base (in Federal Canton Vaud). Their Learjet is white, red striped with Swiss Air Force markings, so I decided to do the same to mine. How to install it: After extraction, just move the "Learjet 45 - Swiss Air Force VIP" Folder to your FS 2000\Aircraft Directory (Note: If no "Swiss Air Force Learjet 45" Folder is present, then you hadn't got the "Use folder names" option turned on during extraction. In this case, erase the files and start the extraction with this option turned on). If you want to, add this plane's entry to your AMS database. If you ask yourself what the AMS is, I'll tell you : it's the other Freeware I posted in May 2001 (ams.zip). It's quite handy and helps a lot in Aircraft Management. Want to know more: check the file on FlightSim.com, Avsim.com, FSfreeware.com, Compuflight.com ! I hope you'll enjoy this jet, even if I didn't have to work very much for it (that's what's great about repaints, isn't it?)
