F-16 Falcon Panel For FS98 by Paul Schwerdtfeger ----------------------------------------------------------- A FS98 panel of the USAF F-16 Falcon Fighter. Based on photos of the F-16 cockpit. Designed in 800x600 mode and tested in all modes and 3Dfx. Features include new all in one ADI gauge, 2d & 3Dfx HUD gauges, working MFDs, Moving Map Mode, custom gear and throttle gauges, parking brake and STALL warning lights, and Panel switches. NOTE: The 3D HUD gauges ONLY work in true full screen 3Dfx mode. INSTALLATION: Follow these steps to install: This panel uses gauges from other panels I have designed. Respond YES to overwrite existing files when prompted. - Unzip F16PANPS into a temporary folder - Copy panel.cfg and *.bmp to the \panel folder of the aircraft that you want to use the panel with. - unzip the GAUGES.ZIP file into the ...\flight sim\gauges folder. - Don't forget to remove the files from the temporary folder. PANEL INSTRUCTIONS: 2: Toggle Systems Status diplay over the left MFD. 3: Toggle HSI to reveal the map for Map Mode. 4: Toggle the 3Dfx HUD gauges. 5: Toggle the 2D HUD gauges. 6: Toggle Wing Leader. MAP MODE: Press 3 to turn off HSI display. This will leave a hole in the right MFD. Drag the map (after resizing) down to the Right MFD and it will show up through the display. SWITCH INSTRUCTIONS: There are 5 switches on the panel. These switches are located on the center of the Panel above the radios. SYS: Click here to operate System Status over the Left MFD. MAP: Click here to remove the HSI gauge to reveal the map underneath. HUD: Click here to toggle 3Dfx HUD gauges on the display. 2D : Click here to turn on/off the 2D HUD display.
