Fokker F VIIa with banner for MS flightsim 98 Fokker FVIIa announcing the Dutch Flight Simulation day on October 4th at the Aviodome museum, Schiphol Airport Amsterdam. This Fokker FVIIa was designed by the Flight Simulator Group of the friends of the Aviodome, the Dutch aviation museum at Schiphol airport. It was modelled after the surviving FVIIa that is exhibited at the museum in pre-war KLM livery. We issue this model for users of MS Flight Simulator on the occasion of the national flight simulator day at the Aviodome museum on October 4, 1998. During that day, several Flight Simulator groups will demonstrate all kinds and all aspects of computer flightsimming. The public will get a chance to "fly" on the computer with several aircraft in different surroundings. Also will there be an original Linktrainer built in 1943 in action. Microsoft Netherlands will demonstrate a beta version off their FSCombat. There will be a commercial part where you will find flightsim programs, all kind of hardware, books, flightmaps etc.. Visitors will also get a chance to take a look at the Great Fokker Exhibition, now taking place at the Aviodome. On show are several Fokker aircraft, like the Spider (1913), WWI D VII and the Dr I Dreidecker of the type once used by the famous "Red Baron" Manfred Von Richthofen, the Fokker F VIIa, the S 14 jet trainer and the last, never completed, fuselage of the F50 from the now closed Fokker production line. This Flight Simulator version of the FVIIa H-NACT is a beta version for promotional purposes. Installing: Unzip the files to your aircraft directory of MS Flightsimulator 98.
