Frontier Airlines Boeing 737-247 ca.1978 for FS5.x FS95 and 98 ============================================================================= Frontier livery by: Rafael Zimmermann Original 737 model by: Brian Quayle HISTORY: Frontier Airlines was one of the larger U.S operators which covered all U.S with a big route network. Their 1st jets were the 727-100 by 1965/66 and the 737-200 only came in the summer of 1969 to complete the fleet of 727's. In May 1978 Frontier decided to change its tuquoise and golden livery used for 19 years to the modern red/oranage paint. This scheme was also seen in the MD-82 until 1986 with Frontier's bankrupticy and acquisition by Continental. The photo is copyright of AirNikon and it was taken in Wichita KS in May 1979. Have a nice flight, and happy landings! :-) Rafael Zimmermann - CURITIBA - BRAZIL -EOF-
