QUEBEC SCENERY V5.1 (FREEWARE) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 By the Quebec Virtual Pilots © 1998 David Drouin, Michel Matte, Normand Boucher, Martin Dugas et Stephane Vigneault Special Collaborators: Peter Tanner, author of the Montreal Downtown area. Rejean Boudreau, author of the Mont-Royal illuminated cross. Quebec 5.1 contains 116 IFR/VFR airports within the province of Quebec and the airport of Wabush, Newfounland. All airports depicted in the "Canada Air Pilot, Instrument Procedures (CAP 5)" and many others found only in the "Canada Flight Supplement " are included. Even though our main goal is an accurate rendering of the airports, we have also enhanced the topographic aspect of some regions. A must see, the Magdalen Islands, wich didn't even exist in the Flight Sim world. Some regions were rebuilt (Roads, rivers, islands, cities and mountains ) to allow for a more realistic "visual" navigation between the airports. · The Montréal VTA area (a 50 nm x 70 nm superficy) · The "La Mauricie" region. · The Quebec City region. · The Gaspesie. · The Sept-Iles area, its islands and its bay. The main highways along the St-Lawrence Valley, from the Ontario/Quebec border to just east of Quebec City, are depicted in double-lane, with the main interchanges. Among the new features of this version, you will find dynamic sceneries at the following airports: · Quebec/Jean-Lesage Int'l · Montreal/Mascouche · Montreal/St-Hubert · St-Georges Required common file: (not included) -------------------- For updating Quebec 5.0 to 5.1: - VOD 2.7 texture files http://www.mikem.icom-web.com/files/vodtex27.zip - ASD textures http://www.mikem.icom-web.com/files/asdtext.zip For a new installation: - fsasmlib.dll V6.1.0.51 ftp://ftp.halcyon.com/pub/users/zof/FsasmLib.6.1.0.51.zip - fsasm Airport Signs Textures V1.0 ftp://ftp.halcyon.com/pub/users/zof/addons/fsasgnr8.zip - airport 2.02 texture files http://www.mikem.icom-web.com/files/txtur202.zip - VOD 2.7 texture files http://www.mikem.icom-web.com/files/vodtex27.zip - ASD textures http://www.mikem.icom-web.com/files/asdtext.zip Consult the installation instruction included in the archive.
