American Trans Air Boeing 707-320 ca.1983 original white livery for FS5.x 95 and 98 ==================================================================================== Version 2.0 of ATA's white 707, to fix tail paint, now inlcudes the silver band on tail. ATA paint work by: Rafael Zimmermann Original 707 model by: Rafael Hidd (RFS GROUP) HISTORY: ATA was founded in 1973 as a charter travel agency, and started its operations as an airline only in 1981, when it started acquiring its own aircrafts, then, the Boeing 707. Today, ATA counts on a modern fleet of jetliners, serving many finnancial and vacational centers of the U.S and of the world, with charter flights. All the enterprise is today a solid airline counting on L-1011, B-757, and B-727 with hush kits. This model is N8416, version 707-320, and was repainted according to photos taken at STL in May 1983. INSTALL: For FS5.x users with FSFS: Copy all the *.AF files to your \texture folder, and the *.AIR file to your \pilots folder. For FS 95 and 98 users with the proper converter: Copy ALL files to a temp folder, go to your converter, choose this folder, than the respective *.AIR file, and that's done. MANY THANKS TO: Marco Balzarotti, my GREATEST friend and "teacher" of the FS world of repaintings (visit him at: http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/7109) All my friends, close or not! :-) CONTACT: You can contact me at: rafaelz@avalon.sul.com.br Or visit my URL at: http://www.geocities.com/Eureka/Park/2104 (Now with FORUM section, let you comments there!) FINAL NOTES: - I'd like to ask my public apologies for some mistakes I've done so far: I'm very sorry for some litlle mistakes in my other repaints. Specially in airlines info. If you downloaded my ATA silver 707, be sure that the correct year of the foundation of ATA is 1973 and not 1971. If some info in the FS aircraft menu appeared wrote incorrectly, or incomplete, I'm very sorry once again! :-) Air Florida never used the DC-9-14. My correct repaint of -15 version was already uploaded to flightsim.com, with acurates like the 2 emer. exits. And it was founded in 1972 not 1976. TWA started taking delivery of 707's in EARLY 60's, NOT mid 60's. (you could've realized that in my N758TW TWA 707 version) - Now I'd like to clear some things that seem to be unceratin, but they're correct: My Air California "classic" 737-200 really WAS an existing livey of OC, It is from late 60's early 70's. The standard well knonw "yellow straight stripe" livey appeared by 1976/77. My ATA 707 silver livery WAS an existing livery either. N7375A shown this paint by early 80's. My mixed livery Air California/United N9014U, WAS a real plane too. It was taken on lease from UA in 1980. Altought it is my 1st repaint, it's very bad, but is a real plane. All the PSA BAe 146's versions were real planes too. Including the expreimental livery ca.1987 of tha "straight stripes" and grey titles. Furthermore, I'm doing that to keep clear my image as FS planes painter, and to don't let any misunderstand remain. I wanna provide you my folks, the most realistic info of old planes to your FS. Sorry for anything so far. I try always to do my best. Thank you all for your attention, if you read this. Happy a nice flight, and happy landings!! :-) Rafael Zimemrmann - Curitiba - BRAZIL -EOF-
