Eastern Airlines L-188 N5520 ca.1968 for FS5.x FS95 and 98 ============================================================================= Eastern livery by: Rafael Zimmermann Original L-188 model by: Kevin Trinkle HISTORY: Eastern Airlines was one of the major and traditional U.S carriers for a long time until its baknrupticy in 1991. With a large route network, the airline operated several sorts of aircraft during the years. The Electras came by 1959/1960, and were used until early 70's. This 2 blue band livery is from mid 60's, and was used prior to the introduction of the alluminum livery. Many of Eastern planes can be found in the deserts of the U.S, in good shape, and this include DC-9's, 727's, L-1011's and many others.
