Trans Brasil Airlines EMB-110 Bandeirante #1 PT-TBA ca. 1973 for FS 5.x 95 and 98 ============================================================================== Trans Brasil paint by: Rafael Zimmermann Original EMB-110 model by: Marty Baclwaski & Tony Bolton HISTORY: This is first Bandeirante delivered to an airline, PT-TBA, delivered to Trans Brasil in 1973. The delivery #1 in its history! Trans Brasil started taking delivery of their 1st Bandeirante's in 1973, to use them in small roues in the South/Center South of Brazil. They operated until 1976 when in conjunct with the government of the state of Bahia, Trans Brasil and this state governmet formed Nordeste Airlines. The colorful livery was a caractheristic of Trans Brasil in the 70's. Many colors like pink, yellow, red, orange, blue and green were seen as Trans Brasil liveries for their BAC-1-11, Boeing 727-100, Handley Page Herald, and EMB-110 in the 70's. TRANS BRASIL ANNOUNCES ITS BANDEIRANTE: (1973 ad, integral text) "Trans Brasil Bandeirante. The Pioneer" "The Bandeirante is a Brazilian plane, made on the size for Brazil. And Trans Brasil was the first airline which believed on it and on his pioneer destine. Today, Trans Brasil Bandeirante, honoring the name which it was baptized by Embraer, goes opening new routes and linking this enourmous country. You already can go, 4 times a day from Viracorpos to Rio de Janeiro and vice versa. And you already can go to Fernando de Noronha Island in a comfortable, fast and nice trip. But Trans Brasil Bandeirante isn't going to stop there. It is a plane destined to go very away. Pretty like the country which built it." "Trans Brasil, thinks on you" MANY THANKS TO: Marco Balzarotti, my GREATEST friend and partner in FS repaints (visit his new page: http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/7109) All my friends, close or not! :-) CONTACT: You can talk to me at: rafaelz@avalon.sul.com.br Or visit me at: http://www.geocities.com/Eureka/park/2104 FINAL NOTES: This plane is dedicated to the ones who love commuter aviation and remeber the good old days of pioneerism of our airlines. PT-TBA, was painted in yellow, brown and orange, as the Bandeirante #1 for delivery. Every time I ask my father of his old times of flight, it come good images like these planes. My father was one of the much passengers who flew the Bandeirante's of Trans Brasil and RIO-SUL in the commuter routes of the south of Brazil in the 70's and early 80's. Who remeber either the ads of the Bandeirante's? "Mais uma vez, os bandeirantes integrando o paˇs" "Bandeirante Transbrasil, o pioneiro". These were all good times, which deserve to be remebered in our Flight Sims. These plane was made of love, the same love all of us have for the history of Brazilian aviation. Esse aviĆo ‚ pra gente pessoal! Have a nice flight, and happy landings!! Rafael Zimmermann - CURITIBA - BRAZIL -EOF-
