Continental West Boeing 737-3TO N17306 ca.1986 for FS 5.x, 95 and 98 ============================================================================== CO West livery by: Rafael Zimmermann (I'm really a 2 N's Zimmermann :-) Original 737 model by: Marcel Ritzema/Jan Moons/Brian Quayle HISTORY: Continental West consisted in a competition to Frontier Airlines basically to the Denver runs. It was created in August 1985, and came to be dissolved just by May 1986. Altough the DEN runs, some other cities on the western U.S were served. As soon As many airlines disappeared in the west, by the mid 80's, (Western, Frontier, Republic, ect) there was no reason to CO West being kept in operations. As in 1986 2 big competitors were gone (Frontier & Republic) the 3 Boeing 737-3TO fleet was passed to Continental, in as a normal airline status. These planes were originally New York Air. Rafael Zimmermann - CURITIBA - BRAZIL "Our airline fleets are not gonna stop around here. By the mext millenium, Brazil plans to add most of last generation aircraft to its carriers. We're expecting for Boeing 777, 737 new generation, several A-320/330 and more of the good 767. Don't be afraid while flying here, our aeronautical level is like U.S or any other high developed country in the world!" :-)
