There were added the DC-9, 737-200, 727-200, ect. In 1984, when Boeing relased the new 737-300, USAir was one the first customers for the type. A demo aircraft was painted in USAir maincolors and shwon at Farnborough Aviation Fair in 1984. This example, N388US was later envolved in an accident in 1991, at LAX, when it crashed into a commuter plane during landing.
