  This is yet another mandelbrot-based fractal.  It's basically a 2-d
  histogram (or is that a 3-d histogram :-I ) of differences between
  successive iterations of the mandelbrot Z' = Z*Z+C with C chosen from a
  region near the mandelbrot set's borders.
