Date: Tue, 23 Aug 1994 17:35:18 GMT Organization: University of Missouri-Rolla, Missouri's Technological University Another product of the FDC Art Department (Ink and Paint Section). You may wish to save a copy of this description to a file named icecmira.info for future reference. This is the twenty-first in a series of mostly unrelated paintings by me, created for the readers of the rec.arts.disney newsgroup. This picture is also distributed by e-mail through a small mailing list I maintain for that purpose, and by Neil Collins , who maintains a larger Picture Mailing List for all network artist work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ icecmira.jpg "Ice Cream Miranda?" 815x589x24bit Color JPG 113176 bytes sum -r icemira.jpg >> 32762 222 My first effort at a Disney Afternoon picture features Miranda Wright from _Bonkers_. Miranda is a career officer in the Hollywood Police Department and Bonkers Bobcat's partner for at least part of the series. Despite her television viewing, I have concluded, along with Bob Ito, that Miranda's last name is either Right or Wright (no 's' at the end) and that she is single (which would also explain why we don't use the plural form of Wright, right? ). She's poolside in this picture wearing a red "Baywatch" one-piece as suggested by Chris Wolvie back in January (unfortunately it takes me this long to assemble some pictures). I've asked Bonkers to give her a bowl of ice cream because ice cream is cool. :-) With the "Ice Cream Ariel?" picture posted earlier, you may be wondering about my pre-occupation with sweets and toons. Rest assured that I do offer my human friends the same delicious treatment. Presented in Inane-o-Vision (TM) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This set-up consists of two cels and a background. The cels are xerography and hand inking and painted using vinyl acrylic. The background is a combination of watercolor, drawing ink, and gouache on paper. -- David Uy or The Fourth Bucketeer (days), The Janitor for Backlot Building R-37 (evenings), and Theme-Park Walkaround Eilonwy in the Future Disney Cabinet
