It has apparently been sitting here since late May or early June. Well, it's almost the end of the summer now and I feel I have neglected the r.a.d. viewership for the last two months. This is an attempt to get the show started again with yet another product of the FDC Art Department (Ink and Paint Section). :) You may wish to save a copy of this description to a file named saeilon.info for future reference. This is the nineteenth in a series of mostly unrelated paintings by me, created for the readers of the rec.arts.disney newsgroup. -------------------------- PLEASE READ THIS FIRST -------------------------- If you are not interested in looking at cartoon characters wearing swimsuits, please do not go through the trouble of recovering this file. You may also wish to preview this picture to determine if it is suitable for viewing by younger members of your family. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ saeilon.jpg "Sports Animated Magazine: Special Swimsuit Issue - Eilonwy" sum -r saeilon.jpg >> 07971 221 Making a very rare appearance indeed is Princess Eilonwy of "Black Cauldron" (1985) fame. She has traded in her gold bauble temporarily for a water baloon; an excellent choice of weapon to protect herself from the Future Disney Cabinet (FDC) water warriors. Eilonwy wears a sleek and practical one-piece which most will agree should match her shrewish character. Unfortunately, I never did see this film, so if she looks a little bit different, it's probably because of a lack of good resource material. I suspect my picture does not show the Disney character as she was originally drawn, however, Disney did make some drastic changes in her appearance as compared to Lloyd Alexander's description, so I don't feel so bad about straying from an incorrect model. This is the second in the swimsuit series. Something for the ladies in the Presented in Inane-o-Vision (TM) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bob Ito has previewed this picture, so I would like to thank him for his comments. -- David Uy INTERNET: daviduy@ee.umr.edu OR: duy@umr.edu The Fourth Bucketeer (days) and The Janitor for Backlot Building R-37 (evenings)
