This factor focuses on the level of difficulty presented to
the end-user in using the system with anti-virus
tools installed. This is intended to gauge the difficulty for
the system user to utilize and correctly interpret the feedback
received from the tool. This also measures the increased
difficulty (if any) in fulfilling the end-user's job requirements.
Ease of Use
is the combination of utilization and interpretation of
results. This is a function of tool design and quality of
documentation. Some classes of tools are inherently more
difficult to use. For example, installation of the hardware component of a tool
requires greater knowledge of the current hardware configuration
than a comparable software-only tool.
