This directory and its subdirectories contain TIS/PEM, Trusted
Information Systems' Internet reference implementation of Privacy
Enhance Mail (PEM).

The BUGS file contains known bugs in the software.  It is updated as
bugs come to our attention.  Retrieving this file will help you!

The dist directory is a "blind" directory containing the latest
TIS/PEM distribution.  You'll have to read the README file to get the
information necessary to determine the current path to the TIS/PEM
distribution.

The other directory contains items from outside of TIS that work with
TIS/PEM, includeing MH 6.8.3.

The patches directory contains files necessary to upgrade earlier
versions of TIS/PEM to the current release.

The special directory is a "blind" directory used for distributing
patches and updates.  Unless you have been told that there is
something in the special directory for you, there isn't.  In any case,
the distribution in the dist directory contains all patches and
updates that are in the special directory.

The docs directory contains RFCs and Internet Drafts relating to PEM.
