DESCRIPTION
The Adobe Dimensions 3.0.1 Update resolves a problem in which 
Dimensions 3.0 freezes as it initializes the font database. The 
problem was discovered after Adobe Dimensions 3.0 was released. 
This update is compatible with the English, French, and German 
language versions of Dimensions 3.0. (The Readme file included 
with this archive is in French.) The problem is not known to 
occur with the Swedish, Dutch, and Japanese versions, so this 
update is unnecessary for those language versions.

versions) for the Macintosh

HANDLING NOTES
After downloading a ".sea.hqx" file on a Macintosh, use StuffIt 
Expander(R) by Aladdin Systems, Inc. (408-761-6200, 
http://www.aladdinsys.com/) to access the file's contents.  
StuffIt Expander is available as a freeware product.  To 
decompress a ".sea" file on a Macintosh, double-click on the 
".sea" file.

INSTALLATION NOTES
1.  Quit Dimensions 3.0.
2.  Move the CoolTypeLib file into the Dimensions 3.0 
    folder, replacing the existing CoolTypeLib file.
3.  Restart Dimensions 3.0.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
This update only corrects the problem listed above. If you are 
experiencing problems other than the one listed above, please 
contact an Adobe support specialist using the information 
included with Dimensions 3.0.

The CoolTypeLib file is dated 07/16/97 and has a file size of 
522,829 bytes. 

To verify that the update is installed properly, select the 
CoolTypeLib icon in the Dimensions 3.0 folder, and then choose 
File > Get Info. The Version field in the Get Info window will 
read "1.2.1." Before installing the update, the Version field 
reads "n/a." Although this update does not change the version 
number you see when you choose About Dimensions 3.0... from the 
Apple menu, it provides exactly the same functionality as 
Dimensions 3.0.1.
