Purpose of Patch

The documentation included with Adobe LiveCycle Form Manager 7.0 and 7.0.1 contained information about an ebXML registry called Adobe LiveCycle Form Manager Registry. However, LiveCycle Form Manager does not support ebXML or APIs related to ebXML. This patch will update the documentation to remove references to the unsupported features.

Installing the Patch

Note: These instructions assume that you have already installed LiveCycle Form Manager 7.0 or 7.0.1.

To install the patch:

1. Run the appropriate adobe_livecycle_7_0_patch.exe or adobe_livecycle_7_0_patch.bin file for your operating system. This launches an install wizard that guides you through the installation.
2. On the Welcome panel, click Next.
3. On the next panel, LC Form Manager 7.0 is selected. Click Next.
4. Either accept the default Adobe LiveCycle product directory or click Browse to select a different location, and then click Next.
5. A summary of your installation settings appears. Click Install.
6. When the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the wizard.
7. Configure and deploy the new LiveCycle.ear file to your application server, as described in Installing and Configuring LiveCycle Form Manager.
