The performance of PressReady is affected by the amount of memory available to the Adobe PressReady RIP. If you commonly print large or complex files, or if you normally print at the highest resolution (1440 by 720 dpi), you may be able to print faster if you increase the preferred memory for the Adobe PressReady RIP: 1. Go to the Finder and locate the Adobe PressReady RIP. (The default location is the System Folder: Extensions: PressReady Resources folder.) 2. Click the Adobe PressReady RIP, and then choose File > Get Info > Memory. 3. Set Preferred Size to 22400 K. You may want to experiment with different Preferred Size values to see which produces the best performance .
