Description: Termite is an easy to use and easy to configure RS232 terminal. It uses an interface similar to that of "messenger" or "chat" programs, with a large window that contains all received data and an edit line for typing in strings to transmit. Highlights of the utility are the ease of installation (possibly with pre-configured settings) using a heuristic search for the appropriate COM port and, as was mentioned, its user-friendliness.
Other features are:
* automatic connect on start-up, with ability to temporarily disconnect/reconnect;
* log all sent and received data to an ASCII file;
* a history for commands that you typed;
* resizable main window, with a "keep window on top" option;
* support for COM ports above 10;
* ability to run with pre-configured settings (no installation is necessary).

| Description: KINSole is a free, open source Win32 implementation of client side of the telnet protocol, described in detail in the RFC854 and related RFCs. It uses win32 console API and therefore may run both windowed and in fullscreen character mode. Unlike some other telnet clients it implements many telnet options, like "are you there", "timing mark", etc. described in RFC855, RFC857, RFC1091, RFC1073, RFC1572 and, probably, some others.

| Description: Console telnet is a full screen (console) telnet client for MS Win32 environments. It can be run in full screen text mode (a DOS session) or in a graphic window. It supports ANSI colors, and has (almost) all the keys customizable. The latest version gets a score of 82 on vttest, which means you shouldn't experience any terminal emulation problems unless you're running a really weird application.
