When running GTK pterm as a Wayland application, DISPLAY in the shell inside pterm ends up set to something like wayland-0. This is not very helpful, since it's not an X display name. In this case, pterm should pass on the value of DISPLAY from its environment rather than constructing a new one.

This probably also breaks X forwarding in PuTTY.
